[Calclg-l] CLG Grants Question for all CLGs

No matching funds; not enough staff to prepare the grant, write the RFP, 
interview consultants, figure out budgets, work with the consultants, work 
with OHP, etc.; too much paperwork required from OHP (again lack of 
staff); frustration over the disconnect between requirements OHP and the 
needs and economics of the city; reservations regarding selection of 
consultants and working with staff and OHP; etc.  There is also a lot of 
bureaucratic red tape at the local level, which takes much time and effort 
on the part of staff.

This year OHP received 9 CLG Grant applications; 5 grants were awarded.
 
If your CLG has not applied for a CLG Grant within the last few years, 
why?
