Just a reminder: Anyone wishing to subscribe (or unsubscribe) to the CLG
Listserv does it online, rather than sending OHP an email asking to be
added or taken off the Listserv.

Subject: New Mailman for CALCLG-L

 

The CLG listserv has a new Mailman (yes, I know that is a politically
incorrect term socially, but it is an IT term) for with several robots
(yes, I know there are problems with that identifier also) to make some
things automatic.

 

As a result you can now subscribe or unsubscribe through the web
interface at http://lists.cwo.com/mailman/listinfo/calclg-l ;

You can set your preferences to receive individual messages as they are
posted or to receive them compiled in digests - you set the frequency
for receiving the digests;

You can view previous postings in the Archive;

You can set your account to receive no mail (when on vacation) yet
remain subscribed and then set it to resume receiving mail.

 

You will use a password to manage your subscription options. A password
reminder will be sent to you monthly, so do not use a valuable password.

However, you will NOT need a password to post to the Listserv.

 

If you change email addresses and/or employers, please manage your
CALCLG-L subscription settings online.  If you know someone in your
organization who should be subscribed, please refer them to the website
http://lists.cwo.com/mailman/listinfo/calclg-l .
