Dear State CLG Coordinators,

I am very happy to report that the 2008 Forum preliminary program is now
available from the NAPC Web site! Just go to http://www.uga.edu/napc/
and click on the program cover. You can also go to the Forum page
http://www.sed.uga.edu/pso/programs/napc/forum.htm to download
individual parts of the program like the registration form, travel and
lodging information, etc. Printed copies of the preliminary program will
be mailed next week.

You can also reserve your room at the Astor Crowne Plaza from the NAPC
Web site. The special forum rate is $95 per night and represents a
significant financial commitment by NAPC. Please help keep Forum costs
low by staying at the Astor Crowne Plaza.

Every Forum is larger and better than the one before, and we need your
help to make it happen. Please share this information with others and
let them know that Forum is the only national conference dedicated to
local preservation commissions and the challenges and issues they face.
State CLG coordinators participation in Forum has been integral to its
success since you called for NAPC to hold the first Forum in 1998. We
appreciate all you do and hope to see you in New Orleans!

I am also happy to report that this year we are able to accept credit
card payment by mail or fax. Due to security restrictions, we are not
able to accept online registration or payment. The early registration
deadline is May 30, so don't delay.
