The City of Riverside's Cultural Heritage Board is pleased to announce
the First Annual Cultural Heritage Board Practicum!

The Cultural Heritage Board welcomes renowned speaker, Donovan Rypkema
of Place Economics and author of the National Trust publication "The
Economics of Historic Preservation" to speak about Economics and Green
Building concepts as it relates to Historic Preservation.  

Lunch is included and sponsored by the Western Regional Office of the
National Trust.  

Cost of this event is just $10 per person.

More on the Speaker:

Donovan Rypkema, Economist and Author, has conducted statewide studies
of the economic impact of historic preservation in Virginia, Kentucky,
North Carolina, Indiana, New York and Maryland and a citywide study in
Philadelphia.  An updated edition of Rypkema's book The Economics of
Historic Preservation: A Community Leader's Guide, was published by the
National Trust for Historic Preservation in 2005 and is widely used by
preservationists nationwide.
