A workshop with the state office of historic preservation


 


Thursday, March 20th, 2008


3:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.


For all interested in community heritage, historic preservation and land
use planning, you are invited to attend a free informative workshop on
the economic and community benefits of preservation.

 

Topics include:

Historic Preservation Program Overview: A Checklist for Success,

What is a Historical Resource and What Does Landmark Status Mean?

Survey Savvy

Economic and Community Benefits of Preservation 

 

Local efforts will be highlighted, including Preserving California's
Japantowns survey of Lodi's historic Japantown and the
preservation/reuse of Clement's Odd Fellows Hall.

 


Light refreshments will be served.
